Qualifications and Skills
- Must have: Python3, SQLAlchemy, Flask (Python web framework), PostgreSQL
- Nice to have: Pandas, Serverless framework with AWS, Celery, DevOps
Candidate Requirements
- You will need to have completed a tertiary qualification in software engineering or equivalent.
- Be inspired, innovative and passionate about your work.
- Demonstrate a high level of coding skills and capabilities
- Have at least 5 years’ experience working in software development in either an academic or commercial setting (may include PhD studies, if relevant).
- Able to work in a flexible and dynamic environment.
- Experience with Project Teams ranging from 4 to 16 members.

- Atlassian development products or alternative collaboration and issue tracking tools.
Work responsibilities
- Participate actively in sprint activities and contribute to the overall development process.
- Working with the cross-functional development team to deliver features.
- Review codes of fellow developers and provide constructive insights.
- Test your own code and be open to reviews and feedback from other team members.
- Develop new features, maintain results of your work, resolve production issues and contribute to the overall team spirit.
