Responsibilities
- Amazon Web Services design, development, operation and maintenance
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations to improve and implement system-wide changes to enhance overall system proficiency
- Respond to tickets within defined Service Level Objectives
- Develop/Integrate tools for system monitoring and change/deployment automation
Key Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant industry experience
- Linux Hands-on working experience in building DevOps platform in private AWS cloud, RHCE is preferred
- Strong experience with managing and setting up native AWS services
- AWS Networking: PPTP & AWS VPN site-to-site configuration & communication, AWS Networking, Subnet, DNS, Security group, VPC, routing, etc.
- Automating the IT infrastructure using Docker containers and building Code as an Infrastructure using Kubernetes
- Application Monitoring tools and customizations (.eg Zabbix)
- Familiar with one or more DevOps/IT Operation Tools like: Code management and build tools (.eg Git/Maven/...), Continuous integration tools (.eg Jenkins/Nexus/...), Configuration / Deployment tools (.eg Ansible/ GoCD…)
- Exposure to setup and configurations related to Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana (ELK), Kafka, Memcache, DB, etc.
- Deployment of applications: Java, JS, Python, NodeJS, Mobile Apps, SFDC, etc. – ( Java/Node JS is must)
- Good with at least one scripting language: Shell, Python, etc.
- Hands-on working experience in monitoring B2B or B2C websites (ecommerce, real estate, etc.) and make recommendations to stabilize or improve the applications.
- Collaborate with other stake holders in the engineering & product management team to identify and resolve issues
- Demonstrated expertise in Agile software development methodology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
